About J.R.
J.R. joined the BOB morning show in 2004 to show his solidarity with locked out NHL'ers.
While they cavorted on European vacations, J.R. was left to wonder what Sandy puts in her coffee every morning and why George Harrison's "I got my mind set on you" seems to have only 7 words.
J.R. also knows his place at home, having a wife and 3 daughters, aged 11,9 and 6. Please think of him often as he tiptoes through the minefield that is the teenage years for the next decade.
About Sandy
Sandy was born and raised right here in Ottawa. A graduate of the Algonquin College Advertising Program, Sandy wrote radio commercials for 13 years before joining the CFRA morning show in the role of traffic reporter. In ’94 she co-hosted the morning show on KOOL FM and is now one-half of ‘The Morning After’ with JR (and Hammer) on BOB FM.
Sandy loves her 3 dogs, all other animals, Bruce Springsteen, nature hikes, kayaking, the Ottawa Senators, chocolate, dancing to her husband’s band, the Weather Network, actor James McAvoy, concerts and Mr Mozzarella. She is the Eastern Ontario – Western Quebec and Belizean bum darts champion and her elbow was once in a Rolling Stones video.
